What's the difference between monthly and yearly billing?

Same features, two payment cadences. Yearly costs less per month.

Monthly billing

You're charged every month. The price you see is the price you pay each cycle, and you can cancel or change plans before the next charge with no penalty.

Monthly is the right choice when:

  • You're new to Ambit and want to evaluate the product over the first month or two

  • Your business is seasonal and you may pause for stretches

  • You'd rather have flexibility than a discount

Yearly billing

You're charged once a year, with a discount built into the yearly price. The total you pay over the year is less than twelve monthly charges.

Yearly is the right choice when:

  • You're settled on using Ambit and the discount is worth locking in

  • You want fewer bills to manage

  • You're confident the next twelve months will see ongoing use

Switching between them

You can switch from monthly to yearly (or back) from your billing settings. Switching to yearly takes effect on your next billing cycle, and any unused time on the current monthly cycle is credited against the new yearly charge. Switching back to monthly takes effect at the end of the yearly cycle you've already paid for.

Where to go next

  • How do I upgrade my plan?

  • Where can I find my invoices?
