A subdomain we give you, or a custom domain you own.
Default: your Ambit subdomain
Every workspace comes with a subdomain on the Ambit-hosted side — something like yourbrand.ambit.so. Every funnel you publish lives at a path under that subdomain. You don't have to set anything up. You don't have to pay for hosting.
That's a strong default. Many users never need anything else.
Optional: your own custom domain
If you'd rather your funnel live on a domain you own (yourcompany.com or book.yourcompany.com), you can connect it. The funnel keeps all of its functionality, and visitors see your own URL in the address bar instead of an Ambit subdomain.
A custom domain is worth doing when:
Your brand is the funnel — your URL is going on business cards, in your email signature, in your ad copy, and you want it to be yours
You're already running other things at the same domain — your main site is at
yourcompany.comand the funnel feels like part of it
Switching between them
You can switch from a subdomain to a custom domain (or back) at any time. The funnel itself doesn't change. Whatever URL the funnel is currently at, that's the URL to share.
