How do I add a custom domain?

Point a domain you own at your funnel. Ambit handles the rest.

Connecting a custom domain is a two-step process: you add the domain in Ambit, and you update one DNS record at your domain registrar. Once both are done, your funnel lives at your domain.

Step 1: add the domain in Ambit

  1. Open your workspace settings.

  2. Go to Domains.

  3. Choose Add domain and enter the domain or subdomain you want to use (for example, book.yourcompany.com).

  4. Ambit shows you the DNS record you need to add at your registrar. Keep this tab open.

Step 2: update DNS at your registrar

Open the DNS settings at the company you bought your domain from (your registrar — somewhere like Cloudflare, Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Google Domains). Add the DNS record Ambit gave you.

The exact steps depend on your registrar. If you're not sure, your registrar has docs for adding records, or our support team can walk you through it.

Step 3: wait for the connection

After you save the DNS record, Ambit checks for it automatically. The check usually completes within a few minutes, though DNS changes can take up to a day to propagate in rare cases.

When the check succeeds, the domain in Ambit shows as Connected, and your funnel is live at the new URL.

Use the domain on a funnel

In the funnel's publish settings, pick the new domain from the domain dropdown. Save and publish. Your funnel is now served from your custom domain.
