Adding a custom domain to your workspace lets you host pages from any domain that you own.

If you don't have a custom domain already, there are plenty of options for purchasing one.

You can check out GoDaddy, NameCheap, or BlueHost as a starting point.

A typical unused domain runs around $10-$20/year.

You can add a custom domain to your workspace by going to Settings → Domains → Custom domain and toggling the switch on the right.

Once you enter in your domain name, you should see a prompt that says "Verification required."

To verify your domain, you'll need to add a couple DNS records on the platform you used to purchase your domain.

The DNS records you need to add will be listed directly in the Settings page under where it says "Verification required."

If you don't see your provider listed here, you can do a quick search for "adding dns records <provider name>" and you should be able to find a relevant tutorial.

Once you've added the DNS records, navigate back to Settings → Domains → Custom domain and click Check status.

This will tell Ambit to check your records. If the records were added successfully, your domain should be now be marked with "Verified domain."
