How the call actually happens — Google Meet, or a link you provide.
When a lead books a call, the calendar invite has to include a way for the two of you to actually meet. The meeting provider setting on your booking page controls that.
The options
Ambit currently supports two meeting providers:
Google Meet — Ambit creates a fresh Google Meet link for every booked call. The link goes into the calendar invite for both you and the lead. No setup beyond your Google Calendar being connected.
Custom link — Use the same link for every booking. The link you set (a personal Zoom room, a Whereby room, a phone number, a physical address) goes into every invite.
When to use Google Meet
Google Meet is the simplest option if your calendar is on Google. Every call gets its own unique meeting link, so there's no chance of two calls landing in the same room. Setup is zero — once your calendar is connected, you can pick Google Meet and you're done.
When to use a custom link
A custom link is the right choice when:
You use a video tool that isn't Google Meet — your own Zoom, a Whereby room, anything else
The "call" isn't a video call — a phone number, a Calendly-style "I'll call you" message, or an in-person location
The same link is used for every booking, so the lead doesn't have to wait for a new link to be generated.
Set the meeting provider
In your funnel's booking page settings, find Meeting provider and pick the one you want. If you choose custom link, enter the link or address to use.
