Funnels overview

An overview of the funnels concept

Funnels are systems that turn people who don't know who you are into paying clients.

With Ambit, just write a single prompt about your business and watch the whole thing (landing page, qualification pages, booking and disqualify pages, automated call reminders) come to life in under a minute.

How do I add a funnel?

Go to Funnels on the left sidebar and click “New Funnel” in the top-right corner.

Then just choose whether you want to generate with AI or start from scratch and click Create funnel.

How do I customize the steps of my funnel?

After your funnel is created, you can edit the steps by going to Funnels, selecting your funnel, and using the left sidebar inside the funnel editor.

There, you can add page or email steps.

Steps are separated into four sections:

  • Start

  • Qualify

  • Book

  • Disqualify

Start is meant for landing page sequences before you're ready to start qualifying leads for a call. This is great for setting context, framing your offer, and building trust with cold traffic.

Qualify is where you'll set up your question pages to collect signal on whether a lead is a good fit for your business.

Book is where leads will go if they pass your qualification rules, and it's there they'll actually book the call with you.

Disqualify is where leads go if they fail your qualification rules. This is a great opportunity to either turn them away or give them some kind of free offer (possibly with an email opt-in as well).

How do I set my qualification rules?

Inside the funnel editor, click the Settings button on the top-right.

Then select the Qualification rules tab.

Here, Ambit uses a "disqualify if any rule is met" approach to lead qualification. That is, if a lead meets any of the rules you set, they will be sent to the first Disqualify step of your funnel. If they don't meet any rules, they will be sent to the first Booking step instead.

Note that you'll need to make sure you have Question blocks in your funnel pages in order to set rules on lead responses.

How is a funnel supposed to get me clients?

Once you have your funnel link (you can get this by going to Funnels, selecting your funnel, and clicking Publish on the top-right of the screen), you can:

  • Put it as a link in your social bio

  • Send it out to potential clients via outreach

  • Run paid ads directly to the link

Then you can track conversion rates on your page and see what clicks with your audience and what doesn’t.

You can also integrate with Meta Ads to send signal back to your ads platform about which leads are a good fit for your business.
