How do I set up a disqualify page?

Send the wrong-fit leads somewhere useful, not into a dead end.

A disqualify page is where you route visitors who aren't a fit for what you sell. Done well, it protects your calendar and leaves the visitor with a good impression of you. Done badly, it feels like a closing door.

Add the disqualify page

In the funnel editor, add a new page and choose Disqualify as the page type. It lands in your flow as the destination for visitors whose answers don't match your qualification rules.

What to say

The strongest disqualify pages do three things:

  1. Thank the visitor for filling out the form. They gave you their time.

  2. Tell them honestly why now isn't the right fit — in one line, no apology, no jargon. "Right now we're built for businesses already doing X" reads better than "Unfortunately you don't qualify."

  3. Point them at something useful — a free resource, a waitlist, a different offer, a recommendation.

Customize the copy

Open the disqualify page in the editor and edit the blocks the same way you edit any other page. Replace the default headline and copy with your own voice. The default copy is meant to be replaced — read it once, decide what you want to say instead, and rewrite.

Where the visitor goes from here

By default the visitor stays on the disqualify page. If you want to redirect them somewhere else entirely (a sales letter for a self-serve product, a YouTube channel, a different service offer), set a redirect on the page's call-to-action button.
